During the shipping, the plant will endure stressful and disastrous conditions if not packed and prepared appropriately.
Here at Dirga Nursery, we put passion and patience together to propagate and grow healthy plants from seeds and cuttings.
After years of learning through our past experiences, we have harnessed special packaging and treatment techniques to prepare the plant and enable them to survive and even thrive during shipping.
All of of these efforts for a simple reason…..because we care.
Our Company
Located in a suburban area near the capital city, we get the benefit of being close to our local customers while having a rural climate which is better for our plants. We started in 2018 as a tortoise hobbyist who tried to grow plants to feed our pet tortoise. One passion turned into another and unexpectedly the pandemic transformed our plant collection endeavors into this company.
In 2018 when we visited some farmers in our effort to find rare plants, we realized how poor their living condition was. Our conscience trigger us to find a way to help them improve their welfare.
We are fully aware that relying on selling plants to meet local demands have not been fruitful for them because of the undervalued effort for farmers in Indonesia. We opted to find a way to export their plants to developed countries which have higher appreciation for the plants that they produce. Our effort turned out to be fruitful and many of the farmers have a better living condition today.
